Retired numbers for the Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers have retired four jersey numbers to honor their history and legends.
George McGinnis spent his first four seasons in the ABA with the Pacers. In 1971-72, he finished third in Rookie of the Year voting, averaging 16.9 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. He won MVP in 1974-75, averaging 29.8 points, 14.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 2.6 steals. McGinnis also played for the 76ers and Nuggets before returning to the Pacers for his final three seasons. In 487 games with Indiana, he averaged 19.6 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.8 steals.
Reggie Miller was drafted 11th overall in 1987 and played his entire 18-year career with the Pacers. He earned five All-Star selections and led the league in free-throw percentage five times. Miller was a pioneer in 3-point shooting, averaging at least 2.0 made 3s per game for eight straight seasons. A Hall of Famer, he retired with averages of 18.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists over 1,389 games.
Mel Daniels played eight seasons in the ABA, including six with the Pacers. He won Rookie of the Year with the Minnesota Muskies in 1967-68 and joined Indiana the following year, averaging 24.0 points and 16.5 rebounds to win MVP. A six-time All-Star and two-time MVP with the Pacers, Daniels dominated the boards. He finished his career averaging 19.4 points and 16.0 rebounds over 479 games with Indiana.
Roger Brown spent his entire career in the ABA. He earned All-Star honors in four of his first five seasons and finished in the top 10 in MVP voting three times. His best season came in 1969-70 when he averaged 23.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 4.7 assists. Brown was known for his endurance, with two seasons averaging over 41 minutes per game. Over 559 games with the Pacers, he recorded 18.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game.
